Here’s a casual recount of five things we are thankful for this Thanksgiving that have made our year brighter.

God and our Exodus Family

First and foremost, We are incredibly thankful for our Heavenly Father and all the doors He has opened up for Exodus. He has been our Rock through this whole process and so much more

Our personal families and our Exodus Family, providing unwavering love and support. In a world full of uncertainties, knowing we can rely on our Heavenly Father and each one of you is a true comfort.

This year has brought its share of challenges, from job transitions to personal setbacks. Yet, through it all, our personal families, our Exodus family and us have come together. God has blessed in every area here at Exodus!

Every Thanksgiving, our family tradition is to take turns sharing what we’re grateful for. This year, we heard some share how thankful they were for family game nights, with laughter and togetherness, reinforcing bonds in families.

Friends

Alongside our family, our friends play an essential role in our life. Each friend brings something special, whether it’s support during tough times or laughter over coffee.

This past year, our friends have provided comfort and encouragement when we needed it most. For instance, during a period of self-doubt, friends called me to discuss goals and encouragement reminding us we weren't alone.

We truly value the memories we created this year, like field trips that reminded us to seize every moment. For example, our hike to a local waterfall was a highlight, where we took turns capturing fun selfies, creating laughter-filled memories that we’ll cherish forever.

Nature

There’s something about autumn that fillsour heart with joy. The vibrant colors of changing leaves and the crisp air remind us to appreciate the beauty around us. Nature has become a significant source of peace in life.

Spending time outdoors has proven to be rejuvenating. For instance, during outdoor play, We’ve noticed that taking a moment to simply breathe in the fresh air can improve mood significantly. According to a recent survey, 75% of people reported feeling more relaxed after spending time in nature.

This Thanksgiving, we plan to spend more time outside, soaking in the serenity that God offers. It’s a reminder that just like the seasons change, we too are part of a bigger cycle that encourages growth and renewal in our Heavenly Father's Kingdsom.

Opportunities

Finally,we are grateful for the opportunities that have come our way this year. Whether personal or professional, these chances to learn and grow are invaluable.

From pursuing new hobbies, like painting, to embarking on school advancements, each experience has been a stepping stone in our journey.

As we reflect this Thanksgiving, we appreciate the doors that have opened. We look forward to what lies ahead with an open heart and a curious mindset.

Grateful Moments
