Christmas Month with Exodus!

Hello, Exodus Academy family! Can you believe it’s already December? The holiday season is upon us, and we are filled with excitement and gratitude as we look forward to all the fun and meaningful moments this month has in store. Let’s take a peek at what we’ve been up to and what’s coming soon!

A Heart of Gratitude

We kicked off this festive season with a heart full of thanks at our Thanksgiving Feast. What a beautiful time it was—our students and staff gathered together to celebrate all the blessings God has given us. There was delicious food, laughter, and moments of reflection. Students shared poems and artwork expressing their gratitude, and we couldn’t be more grateful for this amazing school family. It was a perfect reminder of how much we have to be thankful for!

Preparing for Advent

As we settle into December, we’re diving into the wonderful season of Advent. It’s a time of anticipation and joy as we prepare for the birth of Jesus. This week, our students will be learning about the meaning behind Advent, exploring the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love. Our younger students will be enjoying fun, interactive activities to celebrate the season, while our high school students are diving into deeper Bible studies to understand the beautiful story of Jesus' birth. We can’t wait to see how the students reflect on the season in their own unique ways!

Enjoying the Christmas Month

December at Exodus Academy is filled with all the best parts of the holiday season—festive decorations, cheerful music, and lots of Christmas-themed activities! Our halls are filled with twinkling lights, and students are making Christmas cards, creating ornaments, and even learning some new Christmas songs. It’s such a joy to see the excitement and creativity bubbling up as everyone gets into the holiday spirit. We are so lucky to spend this special time together as a school family!

Spreading Christmas Cheer

In the true spirit of Christmas, we are getting ready for our annual community outreach project. This year, we’re focusing on a shoe donation drive to help those in need during the colder winter months. While we’re specifically collecting winter shoes, we welcome donations of all kinds, sizes, and styles. Whether it's boots, sneakers, sandals, or dress shoes, every pair helps someone in need. It’s a beautiful way to spread love, care, and generosity to others, and we are so proud of our students for stepping up to support this initiative.

Taking Time to Enjoy the Season

Amid all the fun and festivities, we want to encourage our students and families to take moments to slow down and savor the true meaning of Christmas. We know how busy this season can get, but we also know it’s so important to focus on the love, peace, and joy that comes from celebrating Jesus’ birth. So, whether you’re baking cookies, singing Christmas carols, or just enjoying time with family, we pray this season brings you closer to each other and to God.
